Funny Things My Kids Do/Say

Since we've been so busy with therapy and trying to finish up our school year, I haven't really had time to post much. So here are just a few random things:

The time change has not been kind to Aden. The poor kid still hasn't adjusted. A couple of weeks ago it was almost 11 p.m. when Mike and Aden were standing in my room. Mike looked down at Aden and said, "Son, you HAVE to go to sleep now." Aden looked up at his daddy, with his eyes wide open, and started to fake snoring. :D After I got through laughing, I told Aden I didn't think his daddy bought it. Then I told Mike we had one of two problems: Either Aden wasn't the brightest bulb in the box or he didn't think his daddy was. LOL

Then the other day I was making toast for Ethan when I heard Trevor yell at me from the living room. I heard, "Mom, Aden is having an issue.........and bring the camera!" That's never a good sign. Aden has now learned how to take his pants off. He leaves his diaper on (thank goodness!) but he was standing in the middle of the living room with his pants around his ankles and a HUGE smile on his face. And yes, I took a picture. ;)

Last night, Ethan came in my room crying like someone had shot a puppy right in front of him or something. I asked him what was wrong and he said he was in "twouble" and his daddy has fussed at him. I asked him what he did and he said, "I don't want to go to sweep in my woom all by myself and daddy told me I had to." (The boys all share a room and our extra bedroom is a toy/movie/video game room for them.) So then I asked him where Trevor was. He said,"Twevor is sweeping on the couch and he doesn't want to get up. Can I sweep wif you instead??" I asked him if he had talked to his daddy about it and he said Mike had told him no. Then he got the lecture about when daddy says no, you can't come ask mommy. I also asked him if he was trying to get me in trouble with daddy too. LOL He said, "You can't get in twuble with daddy because YOU know where the spanking stick is." Obviously I probably don't use it near as much as I should because I really don't know where it is but please don't tell Ethan. I wouldn't want to ruin my image. :D
