Trevor is a brown belt!
Our oldest, Trevor, has been participating in Taekwondo for almost 2 years now. He usually attends class 3x a week and is VERY dedicated. In just under those 2 years, he's been able to earn a lot of belts/ranks. In Trev's TKD class, within each colored belt there is also an advanced belt that has to be earned. (White, Yellow, Advanced Yellow, Green, Advanced Green, etc. etc.)

Be Careful What You Wish For
Ok, so you know I've been completely stressed out about everything going on with Aden, including his lack of speech. Well, guess what. Now that he says a few things he may not survive to learn the rest........
Bless his heart, he has learned a few things in sign language which has helped his frustation levels TREMENDOUSLY. It's so much easier when they can tell you what they need instead of just standing there screaming and crying at you. He has learned the signs for "more" and "all done." He also says a few words such as "mama," "daddeeeeee" (daddy), "tanks" (thanks), "awww man," and his new favorite is "tada!"
Aden has decided since we make such a big deal every time he talks or signs to us that it's a free ticket to get away with murder. For example, he was climbing up on the bench to get into all of our school stuff on the kitchen table. I told him no and to get down. He just stared at me as he put his little hand on the school books again. I said, "Aden, get down now!" He still just sat there so I started walking toward him and he hopped down off the bench and said, "TADAAAAA!" I guess now when he actually minds I'm supposed to throw a party. LOL But at least he's talking, right?
